In 2017, Big Red Group established itself as a new but deeply experienced player in the industry through the acquisition of RedBalloon. Who, since the early 2000s has been the trusted and dominant player in the ANZ market and a huge part of Big Red Group heritage. Since then, we have grown from strength to strength with the acquisition of consumer-facing brands, Adrenaline, Experience Oz, B2B brand - Local Agent, and expanded our offering with a suite of products and services for both the corporate sector and experience operators.

We acquired RedBalloon the trusted and established market-leading experience brand in Australia and New Zealand.

REDii acquired as a reward and recognition experience platform to engage Big Red Group employees and then expanded into a corporate offering.
2018
We acquired Adrenaline, Australia’s longest-running adventure experience marketplace.
2021
Big Red Group acquires Experience Oz and leading hotel concierge booking platform Local Agent.
2022
Big Red Group’s Experience Oz, and Destination Cairns Marketing (DCM) form a joint venture (JV). Taking the Experience Oz and Local Agent brands into Far North Queensland.
2023
Big Red Group, forms a strategic partnership with Everything Travel Group’s New Zealand original and premier online tour agent, Everything New Zealand.

Big Red Group, engages global IT services company, Cognizant, to transform its digital platforms in support of its national and international growth ambitions.
